Do you accept Insurance?

Colello Speech Therapy, LLC is private pay. While we are not in network with Tricare, we are a Tricare Certified Provider and will check benefits and bill Tricare on your behalf.

Services may be covered in full or in part by your health insurance or employee benefit plan. A monthly superbill can be provided upon request that you may choose to submit to your insurance for reimbursement. Please check coverage carefully by asking the following questions about therapy coverage:

  • Do I have out of network Speech-Language Therapy insurance benefits?
  • What is my deductible and has it been met?
  • How many sessions per year does my health insurance cover?
  • What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
  • Is approval required from my primary care physician?
  • Is an insurance authorization or precertification required?

Payment is due at the time of service. Please reach out to [email protected] for pricing and payment options.

What populations do you work with?

We work with children with receptive and expressive language disorders/delays from birth through age 5 and children with speech sound disorders through age 18.

Why do you only work with specific diagnoses?

We have a breadth of knowledge and a passion for helping children with their early language development as well as a special interest and training in the diagnosis and treatment of speech sound disorders.

Do I need an evaluation prior to starting services?

If your child has already had a full speech evaluation within the past year, our team will review it and may be able to accept that evaluation to get therapy started without completing a new one. If it has been more than one year, or your child has not received a speech and language evaluation, a new evaluation will need to be completed prior to beginning treatment.

How long are therapy sessions and how often are sessions recommended?

Sessions are 45 minutes in length. Session frequency is typically 1 time per week. This is not a rule and there are exceptions based upon the severity of the delay/disorder.
